We have updated a few of our best selling products with new labels. BumpMaster has a new label, KleenShave Gel has a new label and a new size. The 2 oz. Gel has been upgraded to a 4 oz. Smooth & Tight Fade Cream has a new container jar, and only comes in the 2 oz. size. Additionally, a lot of our old package combinations of products has been discontinued. Also, we added a second website, www.cleanshave.net . It is an official KleenShave website.

The skill of blade shaving without getting razor bumps is often achieved only after suffering years of shaving bumps and ingrown hair. And for many others, it is never achieved. A great many black men settle for a clipper or depilatory shave, and some just grow a beard. We want to share a few new shaving techniques that will keep black men shaving with a razor bump free.
Always wash your face before shaving. But this is the new part; wash with plain warm water. Hot water will make your skin tender, and most "soaps" are not soap but they are detergents that dry the skin.

There are two types of razor bumps. Transfollicular penetration and Extrafollicular penetration. Transfollicular pseudofolliculitis occurs when the hair tip is trapped under the skin below the razor bump. Extrafollicular pseudofolliculitis occurs when the shaved hair grows out of the skin, but curls back into the skin, creating a loop of hair on the skin surface and a razor bump at the point of re-entry.
